Snowberry Breeze is nestled in an area known as the Okanagan Landing which borders on the famous Okanagan Lake. This area is in the process of future development with plans to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Future plans include a new Okanagan Landing road with walking paths that tie into the adjacent soccer/baseball fields winding their way down to the spectacular Okanagan Lake and Kin beach area.
Okanagan Landing Road/25th Avenue Conceptual Planning:
The City of Vernon has begun the preparation of a concept plan for the Okanagan Landing Boulevard, a new scenic parkway along Okanagan Landing Road and 25th Avenue from Polson Park to Paddlewheel Park. The conceptual plan will provide the basis for detailed design and construction of the Boulevard. The Okanagan Landing Boulevard represents a significant opportunity to create a feature destination route that reconnects Downtown Vernon to Okanagan Lake.
